- Numerous mining and prospecting applications for various clients in accordance with the Minerals and Petroleum Resources Development Act. These include De Beers, Bathopele Resources, Buildmax Aggregates and Quarries, Kalahari Manganese (Pty) Ltd, Anglo Coal Prospecting Services, Roads Department of Noth west Province, Taung Travertine and Ongoza Mining (Pty) Ltd.
- Strategic Environmental Framework for the western part of Kungwini used by GDARD for the evaluation of development proposals.
- Integrated open space planning for the Kaalspruit in Ivory Park incorporating SMME development;
- Various agricultural and tourism integrated projects in the Northern Province including projects at Steelpoort, Pietersburg, Hectorspruit and Badplaas: The tourism component of the projects entailed the assessment of the tourism potential, market analysis and financial assessment of development proposals;
- Development proposal and restructuring of Troutmere, a trout angling resort between Dullstroom and Belfast;
- Social Impact Assessment of the use of water of the Olifants River;
1996 to 1998 Director of Index, Director of the Elephant Coast Tourism Development Company in Mozambique.
- Director and Project Manager in charge of the Elephant Coast Tourism Development Company in Mozambique. Was involved in structuring and the company and preparing policy on conservation and development and co-ordinating developments with the Mozambican Government and World Bank for a conservation area of 250 000 ha between Maputo and the South African border at KwaZulu-Natal. The owner of the concession passed away and the project was abandoned.
1980 to 1996 Partner in charge of Environmental Planning, EIA and strategic planning of tourism facilities:
- Maluti Conservation Area at QwaQwa, Pilanesberg National Park and of towns like Kempton Park, Phuthaditjhaba, Soutpan and Clermont and Kwadebeka in Natal;
- Site identification and resort development in Tanzania and Kenya and Zimbabwe;
- EIA's of road projects such as the Breedtsnek Cutting, N3 road widening at Inchanga;
- EIA's for quarries and borrow areas such as the Ferro Crusher Plant at Derdepoort and at Kwaggasnek in Rustenberg, both in the Magaliesberg and some 20 other quarries throughout South Africa for Hippo Quarries;
- Masterplanning for sport and recreation facilities at Springs, Boksburg and the new Kimberley Provincial Sport Complex at the Big Hole;
1975 to 1980: Landscape Architect in charge of the ecological planning in the office of Farrell and Van Riet.
Responsibilities were Environmental Planning, Rehabilitation, Environmental Impact Assessments and planning of recreation facilities:
- Planning of recreation facilities for Bophuthatswana National Parks;
- Environmental Impact Assessment and reclamation of the Drakensberg Pumped Water Storage Scheme.
